About Tech Meets Meat
An independent platform from Berlin, built to take transhumanism out of the niche and hold the debate in public. Who is behind it, why it exists, and what comes next.

The mission: translating what is happening right now
Tech Meets Meat documents the merger of human and machine: clearly, fact-based, and in eight languages. Between the glossy marketing of tech corporations and the reflexive panic of the culture pages, exactly one thing is missing: a voice that explains what is really happening, what is proven, and what remains open.
Behind the project is me, Markus Lindner: full-stack developer and IT consultant from Berlin, born in 1998, and carrier of an artificial heart valve, which makes me quite literally a person with technology inside his body. That combination of professional IT background and personal experience is this platform's point of view: close enough to the technology to understand it, close enough to the body to take it seriously.
The name is the program: 'tech' meets 'meat', silicon meets flesh, machine meets human. No utopia advertising, no doomsday rhetoric, just the information you need to form your own opinion about the most important transformation of our time.

The YouTube channel: the debate in motion
Alongside the platform, the Tech Meets Meat YouTube channel publishes videos on AI, Neuralink, longevity and transhumanism, in German, straight from Berlin. The site delivers the depth for reading, and the channel delivers the conversation: context on current developments, deep dives into individual technologies, and an honest reckoning with the uncomfortable questions.
The two grow together: new articles on the platform get their video versions, and what gets debated in the comments flows back into the content. If you do only one thing to support the project, subscribe to the channel and contradict me in the comments when I am wrong.
Long term, this is meant to become more than a one-man project: interviews with researchers and implant users, collaborations with other channels, and formats that bring the international debate to Germany. The start is made. The rest is work.

Next up: the Berlin scene
The plan goes beyond content: a local transhumanism community is set to emerge in Berlin, with regular meetups, talks and debates. Berlin is the logical place for it: a city full of developers, researchers, biohackers and people who think beyond the horizon, and at the same time a city where the critical counter-position is guaranteed never to fall short.
The goal is explicitly not a fan club. A good scene needs engineers and ethicists, enthusiasts and skeptics, implant users and people who would never want a chip but want to understand what is coming. If the right people find each other here, something will emerge that does not yet exist in the German-speaking world.
